But for certain panels where I applied tone directly, is there a trick or shortcut to selecting their general area to apply grayscale pixels? Selecting the layer itself only selecta the dots of the tone and I’d have to redraw the area to select it again. Looking to avoid that.
Happily, I figured out an answer to this part of my own question. In Layer Properties, on the Effect/Tone Tab, raising the Density to 100% and then selecting the layer, gives me a selection of the whole area. Nice!
