High CPU with Poser 11 on MacOSX
Has anyone ever seen this?
Both Poser 11 and CVMCompiler going high where I can't even use Poser 11.
Well, ~if~ Poser is rendering, it is normal for FFRender64 to keep the CPU activity at/near 100%. Were you rendering?
I'm unfamiliar with Mac and with CVMCompiler, so someone else will need to address that.

I haven't created anything to render.
I click to start Poser 11 and the picture you see about CPU going 99%-100% on both Poser 11 and CVMCompiler happens and that's it. I can't use Poser 11 at all.

CVM Compiler is part of the OSX OpenGL framework. I have never seen it like that before. Even when rendering (I Render with open GL a lot) it does use most of the cpu as seachnasaigh said but it still does not become unresponsive. They onlything I could possibly think is if something like the UI scale in poser preferences was changed to something crazy.
Otherwise It might be something you might need to open a support ticket at poser with.. Or even try Apple support as CVM Compiler is part of the core system.

If you're not rendering, then I would not expect to see Poser use 100% CPU, except maybe an occasional brief spurt.
Even if you ~are~ rendering, it will be FFRender64, rather than Poser itself which will peg the CPU%, and the machine should still be responsive.
