AutoSave is it an option or not?
-
I can't find the autosave option but when I've google it shows up in the online manual under the file menu.
I have CSP EX 1.6.2 on a mac.
Just lost some work due to a crash and I thought I was saving but I wasn't. Would like to see what my autosave options are from the community.
Thanks.

Go to your Celsys_EN folder. Open CLIPStudioPaintData and check to see if your work was backed up.

There is work saved in the DocumentBackup folder but not the version right before the crash.
What is the incremental period betweens saves? Is it possible to relocate just the ClipStudioPaintData folder to an external drive?
My internal is not that big.

I don't think there's any auto save. I think the document backup folder just saves the last 10 things you saved.

@PGross is there an option to move the ClipStudioPaintData folder to an external drive?
-
@CreativeRaul I think you'd have to relocate the whole Celsys folder. I remember that someone had posted how to do that in the RunTime forum, bit that's closed now.

If you are on a mac there is Time Machine?
I have not tried it

I can't seems to find the option to relocate the whole Celsys_EN folder.
MicMac thanks for the suggestion but I wanted something more incremental without that level of backing up.

@CreativeRaul There's no option, it was more of a hack.
What I do is keep the pages I'm working on in a dropbox folder. That way you can go back and get every saved version for the last 30 days or so and you can recover your pages if your computer crashes.

Thanks for the suggestion but between the file size and my DSL upload speed thats not a buyable option for my workflow.
