Hi there was a wonderful webinar done by Brian Haberlin http://poser.smithmicro.com/create-3d-characters-with-character-poser-webinar-brian-haberlin.html
which I was lucky enough to get lots of data out of. Unfortunately it can't be accessed anymore. I hoped there was a chance it could be reinstated or made public please.
This webinar was used for an older version of Poser (Poser 8), so it has been replaced by newer and more relevant content. You can access these webinars here: http://my.smithmicro.com/poser-webinars.html
@anniespewak creating Poser characters and the physical root node seem to be two different subjects.
@anniespewak Hya Annie,
thanks for replying.
most of the webinar was about using bits and pieces of characters to design other characters.
the part I am looking for is where all the elements of a character's geometry were removed bar the head
(via object export)
the object was reimported and reattached to the original figure's skeleton and kept all its morphs etc
the result was a working head without all the surplus geometry.
If you could point me to a new webinar that encompasses this I would be very happy!
There are some by Brian Haberlin as well. Let me know if this helps!
thank you annie
regards from Oz :)
