How to crop everything except the drawing?

  • This is probably a really dumb question, but I can't figure out how to crop out everything except for the drawing itself (such as the background/paper).

  • Its not clear what you want to do.
If you want to just display a particular drawing layer then click the eye symbol for that layer ( in the layers palette) while holding down the ALT key.
If you want to crop the page down to just your drawing then draw a rectangular selection around the part you want to keep and then go to menu item Edit>Crop
If you want to save it in a format that does not show a paper background then you should unclick the paper layer ( so it does not show) and then export in PNG format

  • Sorry, I guess I should've been more specific. I just wanted to get rid of/make the paper layer unseen when I saved it, but your suggestion worked so thank you!
