Anyone Know if Smith Micro has an Affiliate Program?
-
Just curious.
-
@eclark1849 can you expand on the question? Do you mean like Poser Ambassadors or supported/contributing content vendors or beta testers?
-
@anomalaus Well, something more like you paste a banner for our store on your website. People click on it and follow the link to that store or product. In return, the store gives me credit or cash for sending a customer there.I know that both DAZ and Renderosity have a program like that.
-
@eclark1849 I think what you're asking about are Affiliate programs. My web host has something like that as well, as do a lot of non-3D related stores.
-
@Miss-B Well, per your request, I wanted to try to keep any ads or banners related to 3D Content. HiveWire, DAZ and Renderosity have a program, but Hivewire doesn't have the banners.
-
@eclark1849 Oh, I didn't know that. I always assume if a store has an Affiliate Program, they would have the appropriate graphic to go with it, though in the case of my web host, I just add a small snippet to the link to their site with a small tag about the same size as the "Rendered In" I use on my Poser renders. They don't have a "banner" as such. I never had a reason to look into how Hivewire does it.
-
@Miss-B They Have a link, just no banner. Of course I can always make my own banner, I suppose.

@eclark1849 True. Make it look something like the banner on the HW site.
