Is there a clear description of the limits on uploads in this forum? I tried a 1.2 Mb .zip but got a message the file was too large, then when I cut the .zip to 256 kB chunks I got a message the extension type was not allowed. There is no limitation to image files; the list of file types includes data files like .cr2, (but not .crz )
Can anyone point me please to a summart of the restrictions?
Have you checked the FAQ (go to Tags and select FAQ for full list) about attaching images? I'd note that I was unable to upload a GIF the other day despite being under 2Mb. The forum is still quite new though, so I'm sure there are things still being worked out!
Indeed it seems some things are to be worked out still.
Would expect at least .zip were in the data file types.
Yup, I'd certainly like GIF's to be working, they can be useful. Info would be good -hopefully this thread will catch someone's eye ...
FAQ: Can I attach images and other files to posts? How? has the details. So GIF should work.
I looked at uploading my lighting tutorial here, but a51 page .pdf with illustrations came to just over 4Mb... ShareCG was by far the easiest place to post it.
