Image Map for Area Light in SF
Is it possible to get an image map to an area light in Superfly. Or do you use a plane with ambient color for this?
None of these both configurations works. I always get a monochrome arealight on the waterreflaction
waterreflection of the area light
IIRC image maps for non-mesh lights other than world (background) is very recent or even upcoming feature in Cycles, and (for now) not integrated in Poser Superfly.
Thank you very much, that works. But I need to scale and positionate the image with Mapping
@joker nice black-body radiation :-)
@joker try using the Poser image node instead of the Cycles image node. I think the Cycles node need additional UV/vector information to work properly but the Poser node does not. I'm too lazy to figure out how to get the Cycles node to map so I just use the Poser version.
