less processor priority while rendering
-
Hello people
Is it pissible to give Poser less processor priority while rendering? Maybe that poser uses the idle time of the processor only?
While I'm rendering my other applications like browsers are always getting slow and videos have breaks.

This is what bagginsbill poster in another thread;
You can change the priority of the process on the fly using Task Manager, but it's easier and smarter to do it every time you launch Poser. I changed my Poser shortcut so the target says this:C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "Poser" /belownormal "C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser 11\Poser.exe"
Don't know how that changes if you're on a mac.

If you have one of the pro versions (pp2014, P11Pro) you can use render in background which does what you want.

Thank you. Rendering in backround gives now good results in refraction. I hope SM will correct this in an update.

I'm quoting this to get it on the first page again.
This should probably be a sticky or something.
