11.1 guide?
-
So, I've just been messing around for the past half hour or so trying out the paths in 11.1, few things I cant figure out (namely can the paths be animated and how the keyframe categorisation works). Is there gonna be a tutorial, guide or official documentation regarding the changes in more depth, and if not, anyone know the answer to either of those questions?
(I appreciate that any such tutorial/guide if it does exist may not materialise for a while, just asking anyway)

@pip.jr
Did you look in the manual? ;-)
-
The reference manual? Did a quick check, couldn't find anything? Mine might not have updated or something tbf
-
The reference manual is a joke. Two pages of telling you to download the support files in the DLM, which are 11.06.xxx.

@pip.jr
Make sure you install the "Poser Support Files" installer. The manuals are installed from that.
Info about the keyframe categories starts on page 573, and the 3D Path Palette starts on 596. Date on the cover should be 12/4/2017

@Deecey Ah ok thanks!
-
@masterstroke
Yes, just noticed that. Hmmm ... reported.
-
Having to download a 464mb file just to get an updated manual is a joke to be honest. It should be a separate download in the DLM or included as part of the main Poser install file.
-
Even if you download the support files, you can only access the full manual by going through Poser itself and going to the help tab. Going into the program files folder will get you that two page thing masterstroke was talking about.
-
Just tried downloading support files in case they were updated but the version number left unchanged. When I went to install it failed saying I have no valid Poser directory even though it was pointing at the file it had just loaded 11.1 to. What a clusterf***.

BTW was there ever a changelog posted for 11.1? If it's just the animation stuff that was mentioned on the SM site, this is of no use to me. I do scenes, not animations.
-
@piersyf The features listed in the e-mail ads and on the SM Poser site are the extent of changes added to 11.1. That is 3D animation paths, keyframe groupings, and the additions made to Paul/Pauline in the form of version 2 for each.
