nVidia Driver update crashed Poser
I have the nVidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card on my laptop. I got the notification that the driver needed updating, so I did it.
Then I tried to start Poser. No problems. Load a figure... BOOM, it goes down.
I rolled back the driver and fixed the issue. But I hear this is a common problem with nVidia...
@rokketman Was the notification from nVidia or via Windows?
Windows frequently will "update" a video driver to an older build.
So I only update video drivers from nVida or AMD directly.
If it is the current nVidia driver, then we'll all do well to avoid it.
@seachnasaigh It was from nVidia, cousin. I am a little miffed about it because I am on a rented WIFI hotspot and I am limited to 20GB of data and this update took 460MB of that. So, yeah, avoid it.
@rokketman Copy that. I'll disregard update prompts until it gets sorted out.

What driver number gave you issues?
I am running 391.35 on Win 10 64bit, GTX1070, and have not had any issues.
@shvrdavid Oh boy. I will have to look it up again. I'll post that later...
I'm having the same issue with an AMD graphics card. I have to run Poser in SreeD if I'm working in rooms other than Pose and can't mess with adjusting the document window if I'm in OpenGL (which I have to be in if I am doing comic book style). It's a tricky balance, and still Poser crashes periodically ... always siting the graphics driver as the cause. I have the latest AMD driver.
