Is it possible to make a brush delete color? so the the deleted color has the characteristic of the brush strokes??

Any brush that has this color selected is like an eraser with the characteristics of that brush.
Is that what you were asking for?

I wanted to be able to use any brush to delete paint' but with the characteristic of that brush and also i wanted to know how to make any brush a blended brush, that being >> it does not lay down or delete any color on the canvas' it just blends whats on the canvass but with the characteristics of the brush head, i know how to do both now so that's just fab, thanks to all with the responses' you guys n gal's are superb!! :)
Ty for the post and the thought, interesting regarding the layer masks and such, something i deffo want to learn more about, that and the reference layer function are very powerful and handy methods to use..
