Exception in Reality Callback?!
-
OK. Poser stopped pestering me with errors on load, but clearly, there's something not working properly.
Whenever I add an Area Light, I get an "Error in Reality Callback" - and each time I move that light or the camera, it pops a new line.
The light itself seems to be working, but this is annoying and I want it gone. Does anyone know what it is, and, more importantly, how to fix it?

Do you have reality for poser installed in the runtime:python:addons .. folder?
-
@rlowens68 I have Reality, but not installed, yet.
Also, this is a regular Poser light.
Hm. A restart seems to have cured it, so I have no idea what got into Poser's little noggin THIS time :/

@trekkiegrrrl IIRC, Reality adds customData to scenes, and perhaps other things when it's been activated. If you're reusing lights that you've saved to the library yourself, it may be that some Reality customData or addonData has been saved with them. There would be no harm in checking the .lt2 files in a text editor and deleting that customData/addonData block if found.

@trekkiegrrrl I had this once too. You need to un-install Reality from all your folder including the scripts and plug in folder.
Also scenes which get saved with reality lights, cams etc..

But I haven't installed Reality yet. Also this was a perfectly ordinary Poser Area Light. Not a Reality light of any kind. :/
But .. Whatever caused it, it's gone. So I'm puzzled, but not overly concerned, unless it starts appearing again :)
