Rigging in Poser With Teyon-Post Webinar QA thread
This thread's for anyone looking to ask more questions about rigging after today's webinar is completed. I'll do my best to answer or find the answer for you if it's something I forgot or don't know.
This older thread covers in more detail a lot of what I went over in the webinar:
No questions from the webinar. Means I did a good job I think :)
when will that webinar be available for viewing? I missed it when it was live.
@ghostship Good question. Paul told me it'd be up in a day or two after the event. I'm guessing an email will be sent about it.
Would be great, I could not watch it live but I surely do want to see it.
Teyons Rigging webinar is now available on the Poser Webinars youtube channel -
wasn't on the SmithMicro Recent Poser Webinar page when I checked - but here's the link to the page anyway - http://my.smithmicro.com/poser-webinars.html?utm_content=31926701
Thanks for the video Teyon.
Unfortunately, we did not get an e-mail or anything else to attend the webinar, but watched it on youtube.
Teyon mentions at one moment to use the grouping tool in the setup room.
A bit further down the road he mentions to replace the obj file that Poser saves for you when you add a bone in the setup room and replace it with the original properly grouped and welded obj file.
The "why" can be seen in this video.
Poser is unable to save a "properly grouped and welded object file".
- Always delete the object file that Poser saves for you.
2 options :
- Edit both paths in the cr2 to your correct and properly grouped and welded object file.
- Rename your properly grouped and welded object file to the name Poser used when it saved your amended figure. (this option is used int he video)
Best regards, Tony
