I need some modeling help.

  • Okay, in case you don't know already, ALL my modeling is done in Blender, but I don't think this is software specific. I need some advice on the way joints, Elbows, shoulders and knees are best modeled and an explanation of why would help. I understand you don't have time for an impromptu tutorial, but if you could point me to one I'd be grateful.

  • Okay, well, I needed a little modeling help and advice, so I had to go looking for it. However, since I needed the advice , it's a good bet that someone else will as well. So with that in mind, here's where I found my answer on modeling knee joints and elbows.

  • Poser Ambassadors

Do a google search for Blenderella. It's a simple constructed model but gives the basics. Not sure if she explains the whys, as those can change depending on what the model is being built for.

for the joints I put some more polys. The rest pretty much the same workflow like for the rest of the outfit.
More polys because avoid stretching during the bending.
