Lineart problem with Screentones

Here 3 pics where i have problems with screentones. If you see the telephone line art i hope you will understand the error. The images are printed on paper and scanned

Maybe you can explain what the problem is rather than having us guess. I don't see a problem.

Well the lines looks blurry and not nice thats only I can say. If you see the non screentones you will see that the lines are perfect. Anyway I solved this problem replaced screen tones with colors

The half tones are black dots and they butt up against the line. It will make your line look a little bumpy.

@garlam in some cases it looks fine in other not. So in that case I use coolors instead of screen tones

I think that Garlam is right that its just an illusion caused by the visual interaction of the dots and the lines. If you did prefer to use screentones then I have two suggestions to tackle this.
- Try using the "Lines" screentone rather than the dots....or
- have the line layer above the screentone ... create selection from that linework layer and then go to Edit>outline selection to add a one pixel white line around all your lines. ( or you could expand selection by one pixel and then delete that selection from the screentone layer)
