Do you have a Poser 11 update?
-
Does anyone know what the latest or most up-to-date Poser 11.1.1 is supposed to be? Currently, I'm running P0ser Pro 11.1.1.3510. But I would swear the latest update came out and I missed it somehow.
-
@eclark1849 I never updated to 11.1.1, so not sure, but I think if you load up the Download Manager, it should indicate the latest version it has available.
-
@miss-b I just did. It read 11.1.1.35540 was the latest if I didn't mis-read it.
-
@eclark1849 That sounds familiar, so some folks here have probably mentioned it.
-
@eclark1849 the latest version, 11.1.1.35540, among other things, restores the inconveniently removed "Send Render to..." button from the Render settings dialogue, which was the only way, apart from (for most people) inconvenient Python scripting, to send multiple frames of an animation to the Queue for individual rendering. Its disappearance prompted the revenance of fields of long-dead Poserites, whose dire caterwauling prompted the feature's eventual resurrection. ;-)
-
@anomalaus so they added that back and took out auxiliary render data?
-
@ghostship apparently so. I admit that I am solely focused on SuperFly rendering at the moment, so I had not noticed the absence. As mentioned in the other thread, the FireFly auxiliary options can still by accessed by D3D's Render FireFly script.
-
@anomalaus Unless you done HAVE D3D's script.
-
@eclark1849 I might be wrong, but I think it comes with Poser. It's under partners.

Yes, I just checked, as I wasn't sure I had ever used it, and it's one of the goodies under Partners/Dimension3D.
-
@miss-b Well. that's cool, I guess. Does it come with all the choices listed on the Data window?
-
@eclark1849 Well, I fired up Poser Pro to take a look at the D3D script and to my surprise it comes with the Z Depth choice and a whole lot more. Honestly, I never really looked at those scripts before. Have to go back now and see if there's anything I've missed over the years.
-
@eclark1849
The sad fate of the partner script goodies, being there, but caught in the infernal triangle: undocumented, unknown and unused.
-
@fverbaas Oh I've used some of Ralf's included scripts before, specifically the Unhide Dials goodie, as it wasn't available in my older non-Pro versions. With PP11, I can access that without his script.
Of course, that's under his name in the scripts list, and not under Partner, but still included with Poser, and not something I had to buy/download and install.
